Daily reports of the program
..........Studytrip Budapest........
First Day
The first day - almost everyone arrived on Saturday or Sunday except Natalie and Pema because of some unexpected issues. ;)
The first day started at 4 o´clock with the introduction of our teachers.
Afterwards, we went on a sight-seeing tour through Budapest. It was very nice and we got a lot of information about the sights and the history of the city. We visited the chain-bridge, the Buda Castle and the Matthias Church.
The stunning view from the top of the castle was awesome.
Furthermore, we went to a very nice restaurant and had a pleasant three-courses meal. The day ended with a very funny night at a local pub with karaoke singing and a lot of fun.
Second day
Third day
This morning, we got up very early to leave to the Skycourt Terminal of the Airport from Budapest. At the airport we were warmly welcomed by the director of the terminal with typical hungarian food and a presentation which provided detailed information about the new terminal.
Afterwards, we were guided through the new impressive an architectural terminal.
The next company visit lead us to the Gellert Hotel, a historical hotel in an imposing building from the early 20th century. Firstly, we had a three-course menu in one of the restaurants of the hotel. After enjoying the meal we were introduced by the hotel's experienced director to the hotel's history and we were shown different kinds of the hotels' rooms categories. Ongoing, the sales manager from the hotel gave us a presentation about the more detailed facts and figures of the luxury hotel.
Finally, we were invited into the Gellert Bath & Spa which is one of the most famous of the in total 12 baths in Budapest.
We had no program in the evening, so that we were able to explore Budapest by ourselves....
Fourth day
In the evening we had a very nice dinner at the restaurant 'Spoon' which is located on a boat on the Danube. The amazing atmosphere with view on the Mathias church and the Buda Castle made the end of our studytrip perfect.
